I have attended standard first aid courses at various providers before and First Responders LLP is by far the best in… my opinion.Courses layout:Courses are flexible as there is e-learning segment aside from the 1 day physical class.Materials are sent to me 1 week prior to the practical and assessment day which gave me ample of time to self study on my own pace and this arrangement is definitely ideal for someone like me who have a busy and packed schedule.Courses scheduling :One of the problems I faced with when trying to find the right provider for the course is scheduling as most provider only have limited days through the week.First Responders LLP have more options through the week and month.Course Fee:Very reasonable in my opinion Instructor / physical class:Billy the Chief instructor of First Responders LLP is one of the best i have met so far.He was very prompt and patience in replying my enquires in regards to the course and provided all the informations I needed.He was also very accessible and even called me after office hour to assist me in some registration matters.Billy conducted the class in a very fun and interactive mannersThere were lots of hands on with sufficient equipments for every participants.He was very lively, animated, engaging and motivating which l think helps the participants to focus throughout the class.Billy is definitely very knowledgeable with years of practical experiences in this area and able to answer my questions.Thank you Billy and First Responders LLP for this great experience!Would definitely come back here again and recommend them👍Keep up the good work!read more

I attended the Standard First Aid course (NROC) conducted by Billy recently. Billy’s class is highly engaging. His aim… is to help his trainees be confident enough to render help when required and not to feel hesitant. He helps us remember the steps via role play, quiz and asking us questions during the session to help us remember what he taught us. He teaches us to focus on the aim of first aid which is to provide basic help to a person in need and not to be too bothered about the nitty gritty. For example, if we encounter someone who is bleeding, we need to apply pressure to stop the bleeding and not be too bothered about how the bandaging is done. Billy, was responsive to questions and shared his experiences so the learning was more relatable. I especially… appreciated how his classes focused on the logical reasoning behind rendering first aid. I attended another first aid course some time back and the trainer was very focused on us getting bandaging techniques right and was very meticulous about the nitty gritty. Because of that, I was not confident in rendering first aid, in case i got my steps wrong. However, Billy focused on the bigger picture, the objective of the first aid procedure. Eg. when there is skeletal injury, or muscular injury, the focus is to immobilise the injured area. With that objective in mind, it was easier for me to bandage the area as I am not thinking of step 1-5 but I’m thinking about immobilising the injured area. The logical reasoning behind the different scenarios was what made first aid training easy to understand and commit to long-term memory. Once my certification expires, I will definitely be back here for refresher! Really appreciate the pace of the course and how Billy made learning easy by offering us mnemonics. Thank you!read more
